Siluan Hirvoja
/ cello
Siluan Hirvoja has taken part in several international competitions in Latvia: at the A. Dombrovsky Competition for String Players he was twice awarded a second round diploma and at the K. Davydov Competition for Cellists in Kuldiga he was awarded a third round diploma. In 2020, Siluan was also awarded a Diploma of the Third Round at the Estonian String Quartet Competition.
Siluan started his cello studies in 2004 in Nõmme Music School under the guidance of teacher Kaia Tamb and after that in Tallinn Music High School in Mart Laas' cello class. In 2021, he obtained a Master's degree at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre under the supervision of Henry-David Varema.
Siluan is currently a member of the cello section of the Tallinn Chamber Orchestra and actively participates in various chamber music projects.
Since 2021 Siluan is a member of the string quartet M4GNET.
