Regina Udod

At the 2020 Estonian String Players Competition, Regina was awarded the second prize and a special prize for her performance of E. Tubin's Double Bass Concerto.
Regina has been a member of the Estonian National Opera Orchestra and played with Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, Kremerata Baltica, the United Strings of Europe, Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra, Estonian Festival Orchestra, European Union Youth Orchestra (EUYO), YXUS Ensemble, etc. Since 2013, Regina is the associate concert master of the double bass group of the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra.
Regina Udod started her double bass studies at the age of 12 with Marek Mere at the Viimsi Music School. She continued her studies at Georg Ots Tallinn Music College with Meeme Saareväli which she graduated in 2011. She pursued her studies in the same year at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, studying with docent Kaupo Olt. In 2018, Regina graduated the Master’s programme in Music cum laude. In 2016/2017, Regina studied in Haute École de Musique de Genève (Switzerland) with professor Alberto Bocini.
She has participated in the masterclasses of Franco Petracchi, Alberto Bocini, Hans Sturm, Petru Iuga, Timothy Cobb, Thomas Martin and Iain Crawford.
Regina Udod has performed as a soloist with ERSO, the Symphony Orchestra of the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, Narva City Orchestra and Haapsalu Festival Orchestra.
