Marite Männi is a versatile musician who is committed to both solo and chamber music and regularly shares the stage with singers. She has performed with a number of orchestras in various projects, including the Vaasa City Orchestra in Finland and the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre Symphony Orchestra.
Marite started her piano studies at Tallinn Music High School with Reet Ruubel and Jekaterina Rostovtseva. She obtained her Bachelor's degree at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre in Prof. Peep Lassmann's piano class. Marite continued her education in Germany at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt am Main (HfMDK), where she is currently a master student in the piano class of Dmitry Ablogin. His many mentors include Prof. Alexej Gorlatch, Christopher Park and Einav Yarden.
Marite has participated in masterclasses with Leif Ove Andsnes, Götz Payer, Christian Hadland, Sophia Rahman, Alexander Kobrin, Alexander Garber and many others.
Since 2022, Marite is part of the TONALi Bühneakademie in Hamburg.
As of 2022 Marite is a member of the prestigious arteMusica scholarship for arts and culture, from 2021 she has been supported by the Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now Frankfurt am Main foundation and from 2020-2021 she was a recipient of the Deutschlandstipendium scholarship.
